This Large A3 Webster Craft Punch Needle work picture of Jesus Christ, carefully hand made by expert punch needle worker Mrs Gwen Heeds sold in Webster Craft ebay auction for £90.

The funds raised are for the charity, St Catherine's Hospice.

It took 6 months for Mrs Heeds of Yorkshire to make and it's wonderful that a punch needle picture hand made with such loving care can raise much needed funds for charity.

Keely raised over £300 for Art therapy classes for under privileged children, sponsored by Webster Craft.

Special thanks to the Black Knights, Sky Diving Centre in Lancaster, North West England, for keeping them safe. It was both the girls 3rd attempt as the weather proved too foggy, both Saturday and Sunday the weekend before so the jump had been postponed twice, but the good thing was they got lots of training from the Black Knights.

Good news is, your original photograph isn't harmed because you're using a photocopy of your picture. It could be a picture of your dog, favourite movie star or rock band. It's great to use Photo Magic for making promotional t-shirts or even a celebration night out with a picture of the event or birthday person on your t-shirts. Or maybe it's a hen night.

How does it work?

For best results use a laser photocopy available from your local print shop or library. Simple coat the photocopy with photo magic medium and place it face down on your t-shirt (being careful to place it correctly) Smooth out any air bubbles, leave to dry 8 hours or over night. Once dry use a wet sponge to remove the paper and you're left with the image clearly printed to your t-shirt. Easy !

The picture I've use of Marilyn Monroe has been transferred to a plain black bag and I've use a permanent red fabric pen to paint her lips red. This has made a stunning impact to the original picture. Keely Webster FHM Honey supporting BBC Children in Need

We are pleased to auction on ebay this lovely picture of Keely as seen in December issue of FHM. This lovely photograph has been printed on canvas and will be signed by Keely to the winning bidder. Only one of these signed canvas prints have been made by Webster Craft Manufacturing to raise money for BBC children in need. The picture was taken by Keely's aunt, Lisa Webster who is an amateur photographer, Lisa sent the picture to FHM and they chose the picture out of 14,000 entries in FHM Honey's competition 2009. The picture is number 25 listed in the top 100 honey's. Keely was not told about the entry, she got a letter in the post from FHM. The picture pose is inspired by the 1940's tasteful but controversial war time picture postcards, but with a modern twist.

Inspired by long summer holidays in the United States Keely has spent months creating Webster Craft's latest stunning punch needle designs.

Pictured are large A3 size patterns, not suitable for beginners because of the fine detail, more so in the Florida "Days of Summer" scene. Creating needle work patterns is very specialist field as the whole picture has to be drawn in sections so you know what colour thread to use in each area of the pattern. Webster Craft Fine Writer Paints. Actually these fab paints are glitter glue and are suitable for many uses including fabric painting, painting on ceramics, china or wood. If you're not confident to paint your cards freehand, draw your design with a pencil, then go over the design with your paints. Simply snip off the nozzle (aprox 2mm) then you're ready to paint. Leave to dry 6 hours or over night at room temperature.

This design was popular in the large size 89cm x 40 cm kits in the 1990's but it's now too expensive to create in kit form. It's still available in the 40cm X 30 cm kit and has a beautiful waterfall background.

The whiskers on the tiger have been embroidered in the old fashioned way, after the design has been made with the punch tool.

It's beautiful in a picture frame.

Jesus praying at The Mount of Olives at the Garden of Gethsemane. This is a beautiful punch embroidery kit and should only take a few weeks to complete. It measures 40cm x 30cm so an A3 size picture frame is perfect. There isn't too much detail in this kit so it's also suitable beginners.

Use the Webster Craft green tool to make this design as you only need to use one stitch setting and there is no need to adjust the needle size. Best to start in the centre of the design and work outwards.

How is it made? Well look down the page and find miniature rug making. The punch tool makes tiny loops and looks and feels like a carpet when complete.

It's that time of year again when this design is king. You'd think it would be an Easter kit) But where do you start? on a punch needlework design that measures a massive 89cm x 39cm. Well, I start with the faces, start with Our lord and get the fine detail completed first.

You can expect it will take you between 3 to 6 months to complete but it will be worth all the hard work when you finally see it hanging in a picture frame. That's if your house is big enough for this picture. Most get donated to churches and quite a few of them are on display in church halls around the country.

It's an absolute masterpiece when completed, I just love it.

Punch Craft & Glass Beads (New crafting Innovation)

Innovative, beautiful punch embroidery made easy.

Punch Craft & Glass Beads. I've never seen this kind of bead work before, (please correct me if I'm wrong) I was looking at ways to make Punch Craft more interesting and I started just punching around the edges of the grapes design. I then filled in the centres of the grapes and leaves with Webster's washable glue, I them sprinkled, clear, no hole tiny glass beads onto the glue. The result was beautiful, the beads are reflective under light and the fact that they are glued within the spaces of the punch craft embroidery loops, makes the design look very 3 dimensional, unusual and expensive. Also looks fantastic on cards (design cut out as an applique and glued on)

I took this idea to the NEC Hobbycraft show and the response was amazing, customers thought the tiny beads had been sewn on, no I said "I like crafts to be quick, simple and easy"

Dolls House Rug Making

Doll's House rug making is great fun. I'm using the yellow tool, notice the fabric is drum tight in the hoop. Simply punch the needle into the fabric, (pattern is already ironed on) from the reverse side, It makes a series of loops on the front side (pic 3 nearly completed rug) Great thing is I can make rugs to match the dolls house furnishing too. Great for kids to learn, supervised though as the needle is sharp. Punch Craft is my most favourite craft in the whole world.

Spirelli Card Making

Spirelli has got to be one of the most relaxing crafts available. I love card making and spirelli is a great way to relax while enjoying this lovely craft.

I enjoy making Christmas cards with metallic threads, I use fine Lurex because it's strong and a 50mtr spool lasts for ages. My mum also spends ages making cards for all the family, she is mainly into decoupage though, however she has just got my auntie hooked on spirelli too.

Hello fellow crafter's and welcome to my crafting blogspot. It's great to share with you some of my passions for crafts that are a little bit different some of then unusual and interesting.

Pictured is Webster Craft's Yellow Tool. Yarn is threaded through the tool with a wire threader and you simply punch the needle through the fabric from the reverse side following an iron-on transfer numbered pattern.

The punch needle creates a series of loop (like making a tiny rug) You can us the design on a garment, cushion cover or just to frame. I made the sunflower designs to decorate the center of a summer tablecloth. Different size tools are available.
